Our annual conferences are a cornerstone of our professional community. Vibrant gatherings where educators, artists, and researchers come together to share knowledge, explore practice, and innovative ideas.

The 2026 conference, Ignition: Collective Energy in Motion, Powering Visual Arts Education, was a resounding success, featuring compelling keynote presentations, hands-on workshops, and engaging conversations throughout the program. We were honoured to host renowned speakers including Marikit Santiago, Morgan Hogg, and Professor Alexandra Lasczik, whose diverse perspectives challenged and inspired delegates. Held at the Liverpool Powerhouse, the atmosphere was electric, the energy and enthusiasm did not wane across the two days.

This year’s coveted annual pin design was the lightning bolt, and limited stock is still available for purchase in our online shop.

Planning is already underway for our 2027 conference, and we look forward to sharing more details later in the year.
